Mairi Kotzampougiouk

Athanasiou Arxontoula
Born in 1983 in Athens, she graduated from the School of Nursing Officers in 2004, holds 2 postgraduate diplomas in Intensive Care Nursing (University of Athens) and works at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. She has been involved in Printmaking as an amateur since 2018 with the Galatsi municipality group, under the supervision of the painter- printmaker Elizabeth Dionysopoulos. She is a member of the Art in a box group since 2020 and participated in the Art in a box exhibition at the Eos gallery in November 2022 with the work Archetype.
Elina Kehayedaki
Elina Kehayedaki was born and lives in Piraeus, Greece.
She studied Business Administration and, alongside her professional career at a major consulting engineering firm, where she worked as Assistant Manager to the CEO, she began attending various visual arts workshops.
She completed a five-year Fine Art programme at Borgias Fine Art, studying under established artists. In 2024, she presented her graduation project, entitled “Horizons & Sextants”, at the Melina Mercouri Hall of the City of Athens, graduating with an A+ grade, exploring themes such as dreams, aspirations and life’s unexpected turns, as well as the ways in which personal experiences, influences and inner strengths shape the course of human life. Her work is characterised by a distinctive personal visual language, a strong chromatic identity and expressionist influences.
She has participated in more than 20 group exhibitions, while her work has also been featured in various publications and interviews.
She continues her artistic development attending photography and sculpture lessons, seeking to broaden her artistic interests, expand her means of expression and further develop her personal approach to visual art.
Eleni Mavronikola
Eleni Mavronikola was born in Zaire, Africa, in 1966 and lives and works in Greece.
Since 2019, she has been systematically engaged in printmaking, studying under printmaker Elisavet Dionysopoulou and deepening her knowledge of relief printing, intaglio, mezzotint, and green printmaking techniques.
Her artistic practice focuses primarily on exploring human existence, memory, and inner experience through symbolic and often existential compositions.
Maria Aretaki
Born and based in Athens, Greece. She has been studying printmaking since 2011 with visual artist Elisavet Dionysopoulou, focusing on the symbolic power of the image. Since 2015, she has participated in exhibitions, and her works are held in collections in Greece and abroad, as well as being included in exhibition catalogues.
In 2020, she became a member of the artistic group “Art in a Box.”

Maria Papakonstantinou
My name is Maria Papakonstantinou. I was introduced to the world of printmaking in 2016, and since then, I have been systematically and continuously dedicated to this art form. From the very beginning of my journey, I was fortunate to study under Elissavet Dionysopoulou. Under her invaluable guidance, I gained a deep understanding of this art, fell in love with it, and evolved, reaching a point today where I can confidently create my own personal works.
Printmaking is my primary form of artistic expression. As a mother of three, I draw daily inspiration from their world—from their childhood lightheartedness to their first concerns and anxieties.
My works aim to awaken the perceptiveness of the everyday viewer and urge them to resist the blind acceptance of reality, intertwining empathy with personal, emotional experiences. My aspiration is to disrupt complacent minds and stimulate public discourse.
I experiment with engraving on various materials (wood, linoleum, plexiglass), with a particular fondness for metal. The images I create capture a series of contradictory emotions, communicated through the dynamics of the drawing, the intensity of the lines, and the interplay between light and shadow.
Through the sharp yet delicate texture of engraving, I manage to “capture” emotion and create works that speak directly from my soul. This process is what makes printmaking truly unique to me.
Athanasios Beroutsos
Athanasios Beroutsos was born in Baden, Switzerland, in 1969. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1999, where he studied under Professor Theodoros Papagiannis. From 1991 to 1994, he received an honorary scholarship from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), and in 1995 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich through the Erasmus programme. In 2003, he completed the postgraduate programme “Digital Forms of Art” at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has taught Sculpture at the University of Ioannina and, since 2023, has been teaching adult sculpture classes at the Lifelong Learning Centre II of the Municipality of Keratsini–Drapetsona. He has held seven solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He lives and works in Galatsi, Athens.
Konstantinos Panagiotopoulos-Michalas
Konstantinos Panagiotopoulos-Michalas was born on November 18, 1975, in Athens, Greece.
In 1990, he began his involvement with floral design, dendrology, horticulture, and garden architecture, attending seminars at the Syngrou Estate in Marousi. At the same time, he attended a horticultural school for three years, completing his training in the field.
In 1997, he began working at the printing company K. Michalas S.A., initially as a bookbinding assistant and later as a bookbinder. His professional activity in the field of bookbinding continued until 2003.
Alongside his professional career, from 1997 to 2000 he attended the School of Vocational Education in Chalandri, where he studied Graphic Design Applications.
From 2004 to 2024, he lived and worked in Turkey, in Istanbul and Bodrum, where he gained twenty years of experience in the fields of antiques and interior decoration.
During his time in Bodrum, he began his engagement with painting. He initially experimented with oil painting on canvas and subsequently turned to acrylic paints and collage techniques. His exploration of different materials and techniques became an important part of his artistic research and contributed to the development of his personal visual expression.
Since 2018, he has participated in group exhibitions in Athens as part of the Platforms Project, presenting his work across different themes.
In 2026, he further expands his artistic practice by exploring printmaking and collage, seeking new possibilities of expression through different techniques and visual media.
NikosMine Lampropoulos
My Artwork is abstract based on rich colors and texture combinations. To me, texture adds an element of depth to art that color alone cannot express. My compositions use mixed elements and are unique, full of my energy and my strong emotions. Through my work, I hope to open a window for you to explore your secret dreams and feelings. In my work you can see slowly the painting unravel a bit more. Numerous layers over layers of paint, incorporating layers of reality, my new series that I am currently working on, has the name ‘FTHORA’, a Greek word that means Wearing Down. In our modern world everybody fights against Time, in an effort to win it and make themselves look younger. Everybody loves the New. That’s why I have decided to create new paintings which look old and worn down. When you can’t wait for years, you have to create your own Time Lapse. My new paintings are extensive fields of color which have sometimes been likened to caves or vast abysses momentarily illuminated by crackling flares of light. Getting lost in them is inevitable.
Ioanna Douma
Ioanna Douma was born in 1972 and lives in Athens. She teaches English, French, and Spanish, having completed her studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and the Hellenic Open University.
In 2018, she began studying drawing and painting with artist Elisavet Dionysopoulou in the adult education program of the Municipality of Galatsi, and shortly afterwards she began studying printmaking.
She has been a member of the Art in a Box group since its foundation in 2020 and has participated in various exhibitions and artistic events.
Since 2023, she has participated in the annual Cheap Art exhibitions.
In 2024, she participated in the Marathon Art Festival, presenting works in shop windows in Nea Makri as part of the exhibition Marathon Month.
Since 2025, she has been a member of the Municipality of Nea Filadelfeia’s Analog Photography Group.
Aundrea Bell
Aundrea Bell is a Canadian sculptor based in Athens, Greece. Her practice has developed through independent study, sustained studio work, and a longstanding interest in ancient objects and forms.
Born in Canada and now living in Greece, Bell works from a position of both proximity and distance. Greece’s archaeological landscape and the geology, weather, and nonhuman forces of Atlantic Canada have shaped distinct but interconnected understandings of place within her work.
Bell’s sculptures have been presented in Greece and internationally, including exhibitions in Spain, France, and Canada, and are held in private collections in Greece and abroad.
Konstantina Georgala Grigoriou
Foteini Efstathiou
I was born in 1966 in Piraeus. I completed my primary education in a public school in Piraeus and went on to study at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Peloponnese. Alongside my studies, I used to work at an engineering firm. Starting in 1988, I partnered with the Andreadaki-Mpaka engineering firm in Rethymno, Crete, where I conducted architectural studies and oversaw the construction of large hotel complexes in Crete. In 1991, I returned to Piraeus and started my own firm, specializing in the filing of building permits. In parallel, I studied Interior Design at AKTO: The Art and Design College, completing my studies the following year. Following the completion of my studies, I started a different firm at the centre of Piraeus, overseeing renovations of residences and stores until 2004, when I shut it down to tend to my then-newborn son. After a two-year hiatus, I partnered with my husband’s business in 2006, which specializes in the construction of aluminum frames and various metal structures, while also taking up small-scale renovations of private residences. Starting in 2026, we co-own the business, while my duties include logistics, customer service and project management. Concurrently, I continue to take up renovations. Starting in 2020, I picked up sculpture at the relevant public facilities in Keratsini under Gagik Altunyan and Athanasios Βeroutsos.
